Clinical Care

The Clinical Area of our Center is dedicated to treating adolescent and adult patients with personality disorders using Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) and pharmacotherapy. TFP is an evidence-based psychotherapy characterized by a structure and technique that fosters an appropriate approach to patients and their families. The core elements of the treatment include: diagnosis and psychoeducation, discussion of the diagnosis with the patient and their family, objectives, contract setting, psychotherapy, and pharmacological treatment (for cases that require it).

A cornerstone of our patient care is the integration of the different facets of treatment. This means that pharmacological care, psychotherapy, and family sessions are fully coordinated among the distinct practitioners. This integration enhances communication between the professionals, the patient, and their family, while fostering the overall progress of the treatment.
